I've spent my career working with college students in a variety of ways; including academic advising, orientation, student leadership, employer engagement, internships, and most recently, the Career Center as the director and a career coach. I chose to work at Westminster because it reminds me of my own liberal arts undergraduate experience, which was hugely impactful. I love working with undergraduate students, graduate students, and alumni to help them understand the ins and outs of education and employment and how to bridge the gap between. I find a particular pleasure helping others navigate complex systems and expectations, which my job allows me to do each day. As a first-generation college student, I didn't know who to ask for help or how to "do college", so I find it hugely rewarding to serve in that capacity for others now that I know the ropes.
