Prior to Westminster College, Spencer enjoyed teaching as a visiting faculty member at Shenandoah University Conservatory, St. Mary's College of Maryland, and Western Washington University. Spencer currently serves on the board of the Intermountain Desert Region Section of United States Institute of Theatre Technology.
