The Marketing Program at Westminster University

Marketing is a great discipline if you're interested in understanding and analyzing business opportunities as they relate to client/consumer demands and needs. You will explore marketing principles and practices, marketing institutions, advertising, international marketing, sales, and marketing analysis and strategy.

What You'll Learn in the Marketing Program 

You may elect to pursue either a B.S. or B.A. degree in Business Studies with a Marketing concentration.

Through this major, you will be able to:

  • Analyze the competitive environment and the firm’s positioning to develop successful advertising campaigns
  • Demonstrate effective selling skills
  • Use a variety of quantitative and qualitative market research methods for marketing decision-making
  • Prepare a successful marketing plan for changing environments

What Are the Key Benefits of the Marketing Program?

Westminster's Business Studies program offers a concentration in Marketing that prepares you to enter a career in marketing or go on to graduate studies after completing your bachelor's degree. You can explore areas of personal interest through directed studies or examine important and timely issues in our "special topics" courses.
