No Application Fee
Whether you choose to submit a Common Application or Westminster Application, there’s
never an application fee.
Merit-Based Scholarship
When you apply to Westminster, you are automatically considered for merit-based scholarships and awards.

How to Apply to Programs with Additional Applications
Several programs at Westminster University require an extra application or audition
for admittance. The first step for any of these programs is to complete your Westminster
University application. Once you submit your application, you can apply for these
additional programs:
Honors College
The Honors College at Westminster requires an additional application and essay for admittance. Interviews are offered for interested applicants.
Nursing
Westminster offers 3 pathways for entrance into its competitive nursing program: direct-entry for first-year students, transfer admissions, and lateral entry for currently enrolled students. Additional application materials are required.
Performing Arts
You must audition for a performing arts scholarship or to declare a major in music. In-person and virtual audition options are available. If you’re interested in majoring in theatre or dance or are interested in music as a minor or as a participant, you may do so without an audition.

Frequently Asked Questions
Log in to your admissions portal to check the status of your application and update your application information.
If you apply for Early Action (Dec. 2 deadline), you can expect to hear back from the Office of Admissions by the first week of January. Regular Decision applicants (Feb. 3 deadline) are notified by mid-March. If you apply after February 3, or if you are a transfer student, you can expect a decision within 3 weeks of completing your application.
