Westminster University is dedicated to promoting women and diversity in science. The Science Saturday fall event is a unique day camp opportunity for female-identifying students in 7th or 8th grade to enjoy hands-on math and science labs and workshops. Activities support interest in the sciences and show students the variety of careers available in science fields. Lunch is provided.
Campers will also enjoy an hour at the Dolores Doré Eccles Health, Wellness, and Athletic Center, participating in pickleball, rock climbing, scuba diving, or swimming. If your camper selects scuba diving, the scuba diving waiver will need to be completed and submitted prior to the camp. Scuba diving is now full.
Registration is offered on a first-come, first-served basis for up to 45 campers.
Westminster University also offers a Science Saturday event on Saturday, Feb. 22, open to all high school students.
The camp is now full. Registration is closed.
