At Westminster, your success is recognized. Your academic achievements—measured by difficulty of course work, grades, and entrance exams (ACT or SAT) along with recommendations and extracurricular activities—indicate your future success at Westminster and beyond.

Application Requirements

Westminster University enrolls students based on their potential for success. Although we encourage students to take challenging classes, we do not have specific required courses for enrollment. If students meet their high school requirements we will consider them for admission to Westminster University.

What to Submit

  • Application for admission
  • Unofficial High School Transcripts (official transcripts with official school seal, Parchment, National Student Clearing House or eScrip-Safe will be requested upon completion of high school)
  • Official ACT or SAT score (we accept either and will take the highest score) OR personal essay

When students apply and are admitted to Westminster University, they are automatically considered for merit-based scholarships. This includes international students. Students in the Bachelor of Business Administration program are not eligible for Westminster merit scholarships due to the already discounted tuition rate.

Refer a Student to the Honors College

Westminster’s Honors College is for students who are motivated, curious, and enjoy a challenge. It doesn't cost anything extra to apply to or be part of Westminster's Honors program, and Honors students have access to more financial support options, unique leadership and publication opportunities, and much more. The Honors application is built into the Westminster application so it's faster and easier for students to submit.
