Well-trained undergraduate and graduate consultants in Gore Consulting are dedicated to assisting small businesses throughout the region, providing valuable support on a range of business projects at no cost. These projects include marketing plans, cash flow projections, and business valuation analysis, allowing students to gain hands-on experience while helping local entrepreneurs thrive.

Under the guidance of Bill and Vieve Gore School of Business Professor and Westminster's Center for Financial Wellness Director Richard Haskell, students are selected to collaborate with small businesses in the Westminster community. This experiential learning opportunity not only reinforces students' understanding of key business concepts but also helps them transition from academic life to professional environments. By engaging directly with business owners, students develop essential skills in communication, expectation management, and accountability.

The value of this program extends beyond mere coursework; it equips businesses with fresh insights and practical solutions while providing students with invaluable experience. This collaboration fosters a mutually beneficial relationship where students can apply their knowledge in real-world settings, enhancing their professional readiness and contributing to the success of local businesses.
