Transfer students who have completed an Associate of Arts (AA) or Associate of Science (AS) degree from Salt Lake Community College will be guaranteed admission and an annual scholarship if they meet the following requirements:

  • Salt Lake Community College must be the most recent institution attended
  • A cumulative 2.75 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) from all post-secondary institutions attended
  • Completed Salt Lake Community College AA or AS degree in good standing with the institution

Entry into the Honors College and the nursing program are dependent upon an additional application process and may require completion of appropriate prerequisite courses, provided that enrollment limitations have not been met. The nursing program at Westminster requires a prerequisite GPA of 3.0 and overall cumulative GPA of 2.75.

The transfer admissions guarantee applies to transfer applicants who have earned their AA or AS after graduating from high school (or equivalent). Students who concurrently achieve their high school diploma and an AA or AS are considered first-year applicants at Westminster University and are not eligible for the transfer admissions guarantee.
