About
MacKenzie (she/her) has served as the Director of Outdoor Programs at Westminster
since January 2024. Prior to joining Westminster, she worked at the Colorado Outward
Bound School, an outdoor education nonprofit, as a Program Manager, Course Director,
and Trainer.
One of MacKenzie’s primary goals for the Outdoor Program is to reduce barriers that
students face in accessing the outdoors and the opportunities the program offers.
To support this goal, the Outdoor Program has worked to raise funds and collaborate
with donors to reduce the cost of participating in trips and build a robust gear inventory
that students can rent at a low cost for personal trips. The program also places a
strong emphasis on student development, mentorship, professional development, and
community building.
MacKenzie is a Westminster alum, earning her B.S. in Public Health in 2014. She went
on to earn her Master of Public Health from Boston University in 2018.
