About
Matt Robertson is a Utah-based choral conductor and educator. He has worked with choirs
of all ages and abilities from beginning to professional-level children's choirs at
The Madeleine Choir School, other elementary and secondary choirs, top-level university
groups, and local community choirs including Amavi Chorale and Choral Arts Society
of Utah. Matt is currently the Music Specialist for grades 3-5 at The Waterford School
in Sandy, as well as the Director of the Conservatory Choir for the Gifted Music School
in Salt Lake. Matt is also delighted to have recently been appointed as the Choir
Director for Westminster University where he will direct the Westminster Singers and
Westminster Chorale.
Matt holds Masters Degrees in Child Development (Wheelock College, Boston) and Choral
Conducting (University of Utah). An active professional choral musician, Robertson
has performed and/or recorded with a wide variety of musical organizations. Some of
his favorites include Utah Chamber Artists, the Grand Teton Festival Chorus, and the
Choir of the Cathedral of the Madeleine.
