ellipsis is an internationally recognized literary journal that has been published since 1965 by students at Westminster University. New editions of ellipsis are published each April.

Volume 57 of ellipsis was awarded the 2022 National Program Directors’ Prize from the Association of Writers and Writing Programs.

How to Submit Your Work

Submissions to ellipsis open on August 1. To be considered for publication in the next volume of ellipsis, you must submit your work by December 15.

Submitters get 2 free copies, and all accepted poetry submissions are considered for a $100 award.

Poetry Series and Workshops

The Anne Newman Sutton Weeks Poetry Series runs throughout the academic year and includes poetry readings, discussions, book signings, and a free poetry class in Spring semester open to both students and members of the community.
