Health Insurance for Students
All Westminster students are encouraged to carry health and accident insurance. Many plans carry students on their parents' coverage if they are under the age of 27. In particular, students involved in any of the following are encouraged to carry personal health insurance: human performance and wellness courses, outdoor education and leadership courses, and/or trips through the Fitness, Wellness, and Recreation Department and Outdoor Program. In case of accident, injury, or illness, your personal health insurance will be the primary provider.
- All student-athletes are required to carry insurance coverage.
- Students admitted to the Nursing program are required to provide evidence of health insurance coverage.
International Students should refer to information regarding health insurance and healthcare in the U.S. provided by the Office for Global Engagement.
Westminster partners with GBS Benefits and Enroll365 to provide information and assistance in obtaining health insurance to students and their families. Call Enroll365 at 855.880.8777 for information on eligibility, available plans, and premiums. You can also view plans and pricing online from any device at any time of day.
