Professor Matt Crouse and Westminster University business students spoke with KSL about differences in investing behaviors based on gender. According to a 2021 Fidelity study, women tend to do more research and avoid overconfidence in their investment behaviors compared to men, which led to higher returns over a 10-year period. The students were enrolled in the Investment Strategies course—part of the Bill and Vieve Gore School of Business at Westminster University. Taught by Professor Matt Crouse, the course provides students with hands-on experience managing a $50,000 investment account thanks to D.A. Davidson Companies.
