SALT LAKE CITY—Westminster University is proud to host the 2026 National Civics Bee State Finals on June 26, 2026, a nationwide competition for middle schoolers to engage in civics by sharing ideas about improving their communities. This contest improves speaking and critical thinking skills and helps middle schoolers develop as leaders and informed citizens. KSL reported on the National Civics Bee, saying, "The National Civics Bee can both inspire and serve as a springboard for conversations about important topics that affect people locally and nationally."
