Griffins break records across the athletic board during the 2014–2015 season
Alpine Ski
The women won the team title at the New Mexico Invitational. Ann-Kathrin Breuning and Tim Lindgren finished the Rocky Mountain Intercollegiate Ski Association (RMISA) season in the top five of the final alpine standings.
Basketball
Men: 11–16, 4–10 (7th) Frontier
Colton Moon became the school’s all-time leader in steals with 167. He was ninth in the NAIA, averaging 2.22 steals per game.
Women: 26–3, 13–1 (1st) Frontier
The women’s basketball team won a seventh-straight Frontier championship and a third-straight Frontier Tournament title, finishing the season ranked No. 5 in the NAIA. Tia Pappas surpassed 1,000 career points to become the eighth player in school history to reach that mark.
Snowboard
The Westminster men’s and women’s snowboard teams both won team titles at the United States Collegiate Ski and Snowboard Association (USCSA) National Championships and won 14 titles overall. Westminster also swept the individual titles. Emma Crosby won the women’s national championship, and Owen Golden took the men’s national championship.
Indoor Track & Field
Joe Cremer qualified for the NAIA Indoor Track & Field National Championships in the 800, where he finished 15th in the field by running a school-record time of 1:55.96.
