About

Elliott joined Campus Patrol in 2025 following a career in business beginning in straight-commission direct marketing traveling the Intermountain West, and ascending to senior leadership with responsibility for overall strategic, operational and financial outcomes. His well-rounded career included positions in sales, service and manufacturing organizations with seasoning in new product roll-out, start-up and turn-around environments. He held fiduciary responsibility (signatory authority) for five organizations, owns several trademarks, is certified by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) as Professionally Qualified, a Director Professionalism graduate of National Association of Corporate Directors, former chair of Salt Lake City’s Parks, Natural Lands, Urban Forestry and Trails Advisory Board, and sits on the Jordan River Commission’s Technical Advisory Committee.

Earlier, he served as Chief Executive Officer for Navajo Arts & Crafts Enterprise. In an era when the majority of “Indian” jewelry is fake and imported from overseas, he championed governance of this Navajo Nation’ owned business to perpetuate the crafts' heritage of the Navajo. He supervised seven retail locations and two production centers in two states, and created a business plan which doubled revenue in four years from $6M to $12M, and retired all long-term debt. Today’s online presence was his initiative to promote the crafts heritage of Navajo artisans, and his legacy with the tribe.

Elliott is a veteran serving earlier as an officer in the US Marine Corps. After leaving military service, he sought an active lifestyle and began volunteering to lead outdoor events for area nonprofit clubs. It began with hikes and bike rides and later included kayak tours. His nine published guidebooks are an outgrowth of this experience to include Utah’s Jordan River and its Water Trail, Cycling Possibilities, and The Bear River and its Water Trail. The Jordan and Bear rivers combine to provide the majority of stream inflow into Utah’s Great Salt Lake. When joining Campus Patrol in 2025, he had already organized over 1140 volunteer events.
