Nutrition and Sustainability

Westminster University knows students lead busy lives and want to do the right thing for the planet, so your Sodexo chefs and managers do a lot of the work for you behind the scenes. From purchasing local seasonal produce whenever possible to reducing inorganic and organic waste, your campus team is dedicated to providing you with an exceptional dining experience that is good for you and good for the planet.

Campus Dining purchases locally grown and seasonal produce whenever possible to reduce environmental impacts and support the local economy. Several programs are in place to reduce food waste—even the kitchen food scraps and peelings go to a bio-digesting facility that produces energy.

If you have questions or would like to get involved, reach out to General Manager Nikki Hardinger at nikki.hardinger@sodexo.com.
