The Human Performance and Wellness Program at Westminster University
Human performance and wellness courses provide unique opportunities to challenge and maximize the potential of the human mind, body, and spirit. We offer activity-based courses and classes that venture outdoors and take advantage of world-class recreational opportunities minutes from campus.
Who the Human Performance and Wellness Program Is For
Most HPW classes are 1 or 2 credits, which makes them ideal for students who want to add an activity-based class in to their schedule while still carrying a full load.
What You'll Learn in the Human Performance and Wellness Program
Our curriculum emphasizes experiential learning and optimal living through physical fitness, movement education, lifetime sports, outdoor recreation, and the promotion of holistic well-being. We offer many special topic courses each semester as well as various certification programs.
