Get Your Questions Answered

Admitted students are invited to schedule a virtual or in-person meeting with an admissions and financial aid counselor. In these meetings, counselors are available to answer any of your questions and help with your next steps.

Explore Financial Aid Options

Various options are available to help fund your education. To receive a completed financial aid offer, please make sure to submit the online Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Contact the Financial Aid Office (801.832.2500) if you have questions about FAFSA, scholarships, grants, or how to make your education more affordable.

Pay Your Enrollment Deposit

Submit the required enrollment deposit online through the Admissions Portal, securing your spot at Westminster. Deposits are due by May 1.

Register for Student Housing

Make sure to secure your spot in one of the residence halls early, as campus housing is in high demand. Westminster's first- and second-year living experience is designed to provide you with the best possible college experience. All first- and second-year students are required to live on campus.

Register for Classes

New first-year students will register with a faculty advisor through New Griffin Enrollment. Registration will open on May 1.

Get Settled on Campus

If you plan to live on campus, keep an eye out for college communication about the designated move-in date. You must attend a mandatory New Student Orientation to help you settle and prepare for your first semester.

Other Ways to Prepare for Your First Semester

  • Send your final high school or college transcripts at the end of the year.
  • Send us your:
    • ACT/SAT scores 
    • AP transcripts: Submit a request through the College Board. You will have the chance to discuss your exams during your registration appointment. Details for transfer equivalencies for AP examinations are available through the Academic Catalog.
    • IB transcripts: Submit a request through the IB portal. Details for transfer equivalencies for IB examinations are available through the Academic Catalog.
    • Concurrent enrollment transcripts: Submit an official transcript from the college or university after the completed semester. Credit noted on your high school transcript is not sufficient.
  • Get your books.
  • Complete the Family Information Form through the Admissions Portal.

Deferring Your Enrollment

First-year students who have paid their enrollment deposit may apply for a deferral for up to 2 years. If you would like to apply for deferred enrollment, please email the deferred enrollment counselor, Q Otuafi (qmalauulu@westminsteru.edu).
