It is the policy of Westminster University to protect minors on campus and minors participating in university-sponsored programs. Persons working for, participating in, or involved with a program involving minors may not, in connection with the program:
- Engage in abusive conduct of any kind toward, or in the presence of, a minor
- Administer force upon a minor with or without an implement or tool for the purpose of discipline (e.g., corporal punishment)
- Touch a minor in an inappropriate or illegal manner
- Engage in the use or possession of alcohol, tobacco, or illegal drugs in the presence or vicinity of minors
- Take photographs of any minor without the express consent of the minor’s parent or guardian
- Possess, produce, access, or make available to minors any sexually explicit images, material, or media
Any person who suspects or becomes aware of a violation of this policy has an obligation to report their concern.
