About
Sara Demko has worked in international higher education for over fifteen years. She is responsible for policies and procedures related to international programs and services at Westminster and serves as co-chair of the International Council. Additionally, Sara works closely with faculty, staff, and students to promote and develop global learning in the curriculum and co-curriculum. Sara is originally from northern Wisconsin and has a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science, International Studies, and Spanish from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and a Master's Degree in Cultural Geography from Prescott College. She spent the first part of her career working for SIT Study Abroad before moving to Utah where she has also worked in international higher education positions at Salt Lake Community College and the University of Utah. Sara has held leadership positions with NAFSA: The Association of International Educators, the Utah Board of International Educators, and is a member of AIEA and the Forum on Education Abroad.
