Debra Glenn is currently serving as the Vice President of Finance and Administration
and Chief Financial Officer at Westminster University in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Before joining Westminster University, Debra held the position of Assistant Vice President for Business Services and Controller at Salt Lake Community College (SLCC). In this role, she was responsible for overseeing a team of over 50 college professionals, staff, and service employees.
During her tenure at SLCC, she demonstrated exceptional leadership skills and implemented initiatives that brought about significant improvements in financial reporting timeliness and processes. By leveraging technology, she successfully introduced efficient and effective business practices, resulting in streamlined operations and enhanced productivity.
Her strategic approach to financial management and her ability to ensure the financial strength and sustainability of the organization were instrumental in supporting SLCC's operational effectiveness. Her leadership played a vital role in optimizing services provided by the functional units under the Business Services division.
Debra received her Master of Accounting degree from the University of Utah. She is a licensed CPA and serves on the accounting alumni board at Utah Valley University. She was a board member for the Utah Region of the American Cancer Society and SLCC’s chapter of Utah Women in Higher Education Network, Utah’s affiliate to the American Council on Education Women’s Network.
Debra worked as an auditor in public accounting for local and regional accounting firms and for the Office of the Utah State Auditor.
Debra is an active member of the National Association of College and University Business Officers (NACUBO) and was selected to participate in an intensive leadership program as a NACUBO Fellow. She is also an active member of the Western Association of College and University Business Officers (WACUBO) and serves on committees for these national and regional organizations.
