About
My undergraduate education and my work experiences have been on small residential campuses. I joined the Westminster community in the summer of 2019. Prior to Westminster, I spent two decades living in the Pacific Northwest.
I believe in the value of a liberal arts education and in being part of a residential community. Witnessing what students are capable of achieving and creating greater access to the transformational power of higher education motivates my work.
My husband and I are originally from northern Utah. We are excited to be back in Utah with our two kids and our black lab, Nellie. With the mountains so close by, we ski in the winter and hike in the summer. I crossed off a bucket list item last summer when I bought a road bike. This summer, I am looking forward to exploring Salt Lake's great neighborhoods and restaurants on my bike!
Interests
I spend my time attempting to make sense of college admissions, listening to National Public Radio, reading the New York times, trying local foods and restaurants, searching the stacks at my public library, shopping at my local farmer's markets, drinking (too much!) coffee, walking my black lab, enjoying Oregon wine, and loving my kids.
