Dear Westminster Students:

We’re excited to share a big update: starting next term, we’re moving the bookstore online! This means you can order all your textbooks and course materials electronically with everything organized specifically for your classes.

Our new online bookstore will be powered by Barnes & Noble College, which serves over 6 million students nationwide. This new model will make it easy to get what you need. Here's a few things you need to know:

  • Book returns for the Fall 2024 semester will follow the same process as usual by returning books to the Follett bookstore in the Shaw Student Center. The deadline to return books is Dec. 18, 2024.
  • Beginning Dec. 16, you’ll be able to log in to the Barnes and Noble (BNC) new online bookstore to view your class schedule and order any course materials for the Spring Semester. You’ll see only the materials for your classes, so there's no guesswork.
  • You can have your course materials mailed to the campus mailroom, the post office, or to a home address.

This online bookstore comes with some added benefits:

  • Customer support when questions arise.
  • Access to a huge selection of used books (for solid savings).
  • Clear buyback options for certain books at the end of the term.
  • Convenient payment options and fast shipping, so you’re ready when classes start.

We’ll send more information in the coming weeks when the online bookstore is ready for orders. Continue to check Westminster University bookstore webpage for ongoing updates and additional information about the transition to Barnes & Noble College.

Best,
Westminster University
