Dear Westminster community,

I’m excited to share that Westminster College will host 3 in-person commencement ceremonies over May 7–8, 2021. The ceremonies will be on campus, outdoors on Dumke Field. Many details are being planned using all emerging best practices to have safe, socially-distanced ceremonies.

We will celebrate undergraduate and graduate students together, grouped by schools on the following dates and times.

  • Friday, May 7, 3:00 p.m.: School of Nursing and Health Sciences
  • Saturday, May 8, 10:00 a.m.: School of Arts and Sciences
  • Saturday, May 8, 3:00 p.m.: Gore School of Business and the School of Education

Each graduate can invite 2 guests and we will provide a live-stream for those not in attendance. In order to allow the campus to clear out before the next ceremony, we will not have social events between each Commencement. We hope to make each of these events impactful while keeping everyone safe from the COVID virus. We are working on details for hooding of graduate students and pinning of all levels of nursing students. Watch for further details as they are finalized.

Westminster will do all we can to make Commencement a memorable day for graduates and families. Please save the date now and expect more details to come.
