Karate is an excellent way to help develop coordination, confidence, physical fitness and mental strength while gaining valuable social skills. Youth Karate is connected to the Salt Lake City Shotokan Karate Adults Class at Westminster University. This class is geared toward younger students and serves as a great introduction to Karate in a positive and supportive atmosphere.
Youth Karate is led by Leon Chodos, shodan (1st degree black belt) with help from a group of instructors: Alun Thomas, yodan (4th degree), Kent Chapman, sandan (3rd degree), Marty Schwarz, nidan (2nd degree), and others.
