About
Emily recently earned her Bachelors in Music Performance degree from the University of Utah with an emphasis in Classical Guitar Performance. During her 13 years of guitar playing experience, she has studied multiple music styles including classical, rock, jazz, folk, finger style guitar music, and country. In addition to playing guitar, Emily also plays piano, ukulele, drum set and other percussion instruments, and has also dabbled in banjo playing. Emily has had many opportunities to utilize these skills in performance settings. Her performance experiences include recitals, Christian worship concerts, Sunday church services, private parties, weddings, gelato shops, fundraisers, and musical orchestra pits. Her participation in eleven different musicals have been both with community theater groups and professional theater companies including the University of Utah theater department and the Utah Repertory Theater Company.
